Student Success One-on-One Sessions
Overview
Academic success one-on-one sessions focus on providing support and resources focused on academic success. The main objective is to empower students and help them develop the necessary skills and strategies to achieve academic excellence. During the session, you will receive personalized guidance, focus on setting realistic and attainable goals, create effective study plans, and focus on strategies to remain motivated throughout academic pursuits. The session can also focus on identifying personal strengths and areas for growth. The sessions are focused on discerning what will be helpful strategies you can use throughout the semester.
In addition to academic support, the session can provide mentorship and guidance on non-academic matters, such as time management, stress management, and short- and long-term goal setting. The sessions will support strategies for creating balance in academic workload and taking a holistic approach to academic success; it is important to focus on all elements of wellness to ensure a well-rounded and fulfilling college experience. You will be encouraged and supported to reach your full potential, overcome obstacles, and succeed academically while cultivating personal growth and development.
